My name is Russell, your Workshop Instructor. Hunting and sport shooting started in my early years, and bullet casting / reloading have been hobbies since the early 70's. Military Service started in the later Vietnam years as an infantryman (Expert Rifle), followed by enlisting in the Air Force as a Life Support / Survival Tech. Attending Appleseed Shoots, I have been awarded their Rifleman status. I am an attendee and Life Member of Front Sight, in Nevada, Trigger Control Training in Coeur d'Alene, and proud to be an NRA Life Member and Certified Range Safety Officer.

The Second Amendment represents the essence of our freedom. Without it, our other rights are almost meaningless. History is filled with accounts of governments that have forbidden or strictly limited gun ownership by their citizens...often resulting in the elimination of other basic freedoms we take for granted.
Because of the foresight of its founding fathers, America is among the few nations that allows its citizens the freedom to keep and bear arms. There have been numerous government assaults on the Second Amendment, and the National Rifle Association has been on the front lines fighting against these attacks.
The NRA has been protecting the Second Amendment for over a century. Contributions supporting the NRA mean that you can continue to own guns. The NRA monitors laws in every state as well the work of Congress. Laws that limit the rights of gun owners and limit the ability to keep and bear arms are strongly opposed by the NRA. Your contributions support that effort.
By teaching our citizens to shoot and handle guns responsibly, the NRA is creating future generations of shooters and hunters. Together, we can save our cherished freedoms for those who follow.
