Hi Russ,
I thought you might like to share this with folks. We are all looking for ways to save money whenever possible! Here’s some warehouse or discount stores for food or other items in the North ID area. There are probably more, but these are ones I’ve personally shopped at: Of course there are the well known ones like Costco and WinCo. In addition: Chef’Store….this used to be Cash & Carry. Down on Appleway just east of Hwy 95 in CDA. Grocery Outlet – lots of food and other supplies. On Hwy 95 in CDA. Bi-Mart (kinda like BigLots but also has food, clothes, etc and…..Ammo and bang-bangs at good prices!) In Rathdrum. Rocky Mountain Liquidations (in Hayden – gets stuff from local stores including Costco, Macys, etc. It changes every day.) Newby-Ginnings (a GREAT find! Thrift store For veterans only. In Post Falls – you have to sign in and show proof of vet status. Everything is FREE to vets! You can shop there once a week. Clothes, books, household goods, medical supplies and yes…there’s some food as well including fresh fruit.) Lucky Bee Variety Store (in Newport, WA/Oldtown, ID area) A local family-owned old-fashioned overflow/liquidation store with tons of food stuffs, clothes, shoes, school supplies, you name it. Changes all the time.) Don’t forget the military surplus stores, thrift stores, etc! You never know what you’ll find. What other ones do you know about? Emm Double-Aught Buck, 12 GA, 2 3/4", BOX OF TEN, only $5.00 right NOW at Bi-Mart SAT Feb 12 - Public GUN CLASS Scheduled, Still some slots!!!!! at CCC, 8:45A to 4:30P Fill Out Registration Form now to sign up! DETAILS: Pistols Part 1- Operation Pre-Registration Required by 5 days prior to class! Register on website w/$10 deposit, balance in cash at class. OPERATION: Safety, Firing and SHOPPING! (repeat free for life) is primarily pistol and revolver safety, understanding the meanings of "mm", "cal", "gr", etc., identifying and operating handgun parts and describing differences in types. You will safely pick up and physically clear and operate a variety of handguns to establish preferences. You will master the proper grip of a pistol, understand the biomechanics of the grip, stock angles and limpwristing. You will identify your dominant eye and understand the relationship of sight alignment and sight picture while coordinating stance and breathing with the proper trigger press. You will master "trigger reset" during "dry practice." By the end of the class, you will accurately fire laser cartridges from a REAL gun, safely handle a pistol, and intelligently shop for one. No experience required. Bring lunch, snacks, drinks & Safety Glasses. Pistols Part 2- Shooting Tuition was covered under your Pistols Part One tuition. SHOOTING: Confidence and Control! (repeat free for life) will find you safely learning the five-count presentation from the holster, then firing from that position. You will safely load / unload magazines and practice both tactical and emergency magazine reloads. You will learn the components of a cartridge, identify which loads will produce more recoil, and which guns will minimize recoil. Today's session will clearly indicate your mastery of the breath, grip, sight and trigger techniques. By the end of the class, you will be accurately firing non-lethal ammunition into the vital areas of a human silhouette target, and be awarded Marksmanship Status - or it's FREE. This class will qualify you for the Course Certificate of Completion needed for your standard Concealed Carry Permit! PISTOLS: Part One is REQUIRED prior to this session. Bring lunch, snacks, drinks, Safety Glasses and belted pants for holster. Optional: Bring your own cased pistol, extra magazines, holster, NO Ammo NOTE: WHY you train here with Laser Cartridges (not Laser Sights) in REAL Guns: Expensive, toxic-lead "Live Fire" ammo with full noise and recoil will cause any student to flinch, and miss the target. You won't know if that's the cause, or if you need to fine-tune your Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment, Trigger Press, or what. By taking Noise and Recoil out of the equation, you can perfect these skills while developing "muscle memory." PLUS, you'll be able to shoot 6,000 laser "shots" for the same price as 50 lead bullets . . . right in your home! There are dozens of ranges and hundreds of range masters who are happy to breeze you through a "live fire" shooting, but I've yet to meet another Certified Instructor who will dedicate a full day to actually train you to Shoot . . . with a Money Back Guarantee! Register FIVE days before Class to avoid class cancellation! Complete the Registration Form on this site to attend. You don't sign up / I don't show up! Potty training and discipline training has been started for several weeks now. High food drive and huge size on this litter. This is hands down the smartest litter we have had.
